Meet Liam & Patrick.
We're two brothers who grew up in South Miami-Dade. We started Highland Junk and Metal because getting rid of junk should be easy, honest and fairly priced, and because a lot of what gets thrown out is metal that can be recycled.
When you call or text, you're talking to one of us. When the truck shows up, it's us carrying your stuff out.

How much does junk removal cost?
It depends on how much space your items take up in the truck. A few items usually start around $149, and a full truckload starts around $499. Text us a photo for a firm price before we come out.
Is scrap metal pickup really free?
Often, yes. If the load is mostly metal with recycling value (appliances, AC units, water heaters, fencing, pipe), we may pick it up for free. Mixed loads are discounted for the scrap. Send a photo and we'll confirm.
Can you come today?
Usually. Call or text before 2pm and we'll do our best to come the same day. Otherwise we'll schedule the next available window.
Do I need to carry anything outside?
No. We pick up from inside the house, garage, backyard or upstairs. You just point.
What can't you take?
We can't take hazardous waste like paint, chemicals, fuel, asbestos or medical waste. Not sure about something? Ask us.
How do I pay?
After the job is done. We accept Zelle, card and cash.
